The ControlBee GPS sensor is designed to be mounted inside the hive. It detects vibrations and impacts and reacts when the hive is lifted, moved or opened. As soon as a threat is detected, the sensor immediately sends a notification to the user. The user receives notifications in the mobile app (on the phone). The mobile app shows the time of the event and the current geographic position of the hive on a map. If the hive is being moved, the app continuously shows its latest location.

Thanks to its small size, it can be hidden effectively inside the hive. A fully charged battery provides up to 12 months of maintenance-free operation.
