Wireless hive scale for the ControlBee MONITOR system (requires the MONITOR controller). Small and lightweight design. Load capacity up to 90 kg. Operating time up to 24 months per battery charge, or 5 years with a lithium battery.

The scale sensor is designed to be mounted directly under the hive. Place the sensor so that its feet stand on a stable, level surface. The load should be distributed evenly across the feet.

The sensor can be placed on any side of the hive. A support that allows the hive to be levelled must be fitted on the opposite side. A beam for supporting the hive is included in the box with the sensor.

Changes in the total mass of the hive produce a proportionally equal load across its entire base. The sensor detects these changes and the results are shown as a chart in the app. The app also tells you whether the current total weight of the hive is increasing, decreasing or unchanged compared with previous measurements.
